Terms Peek House is offered for rent on a self-catering basis throughout the whole year.
All terms are based on a weekly cycle (Friday to Friday) for the property. The normal time of take over is 4pm. The normal time of departure is 10am. You are obliged to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition. You are responsible for any damage or loss sustained during your stay. |
Rental Rates Peek House accepts Visa, MasterCard and Debit cards for booking deposits and balances and for any merchandise or supplementary services not included in the rental fee.
Low Season: 3 night weekends from £1,800 7 nights from £2,500
High Season: 3 night weekends from £2,000 7 nights from £3,000
Easter, Christmas and the New Year periods will be charged at high season rates. Ask for information on the dates.
Weekend bookings will be accepted in low season. Please call for rates. |
Payment Terms Payment of the deposit of 40% of the total hire charge confirms booking. Balances must be paid one calendar month before the 1st rental date. MasterCard, Visa, Solo, Electron and Debit cards are accepted. All cheques must be made out to Peek House Limited. |
Numbers in your party It is a condition of your booking that the total number in your party shall not exceed the capacity of the property (or properties if you are taking more than one) which has been set at up to 14 adults for Peek House. Specific written agreement must be obtained to accommodate any extra numbers. Children under two years of age are not counted in your numbers. |
Supplementary Services All supplementary services will be charged for on delivery and must be settled by credit card or cash |
Cancellations Telephone PHL immediately if a cancellation is necessary. This must be followed as soon as possible with a notification in writing. If you cancel your booking, you are still liable for the payment of your balance. We will endeavour to re-let your booked period. If we are able to do so before your balance is due, you will only lose your booking deposit. If we are able to re-let after you have paid your balance, then we will refund the whole or part of that money (so that you only lose your booking deposit) up to a maximum of the hire charges we receive in re-letting. |
Linen and towels Bed linen (this may be duvets or blankets and sheets) and towels are provided. |
Availability Your booking is accepted on the understanding that your confirmed property will be available for your use on the agreed date. In the case of "force majeure" (as defined in clause 11) PHL has the right to cancel your booking. In this event, we will refund all deposits and balances you have paid to us in full. PHL cannot pay any compensation or meet any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any such cancellation or change.
We reserve the right to alter or withdraw amenities or facilities or the whole or any part of any programme of activities, which have either been advertised or previously available, without prior notice; where reasonably necessary due to repairs, maintenance, weather conditions and circumstances beyond our control. |
